On the evening of April 2, 2020 Watervliet Police responded to the 1400 block of First Avenue
for a report of a domestic incident. Upon arrival it was discovered that Zaquon C. Woody
DOB 7/18/1994 a resident of the city of Albany, had damaged property in excess of $1,500.00
inside the victim’s residence during a verbal dispute. Further investigation revealed that Zaquon
C. Woody was in possession of a loaded 9mm firearm, a SCCY Industries CPX-2.
Zaquon C. Woody subsequently was charged with PL 265.03 (3) Criminal Possession of a
Weapon in the 2nd Degree (Loaded Firearm) a class C Felony, PL 265.02 (1) Criminal
Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree (Previous Conviction) a class D Felony, PL 145.10
Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree a class D Felony, and PL 221.05 Unlawful Possession of
Marihuana in the 2nd Degree a Violation. Zaquon C. Woody was arraigned before Honorable
Judge Reinfurt in Watervliet City Court and he was remanded to Albany County Correctional
Facility.
